Dear Parents / Guardians,

I am very much happy to announce that we have added one more legacy for the golden history of Nagarjuna Academy; i.e. the completion of the 12^th year.  All the credit goes to our valuable parents and guardians for their continued help and support for our endeavours to lay down the effectual and efficient education for our students.

Our Achievements and Programmes:

• Last year (2064) too, third batch of our SLC students got 100% successful result with distinctions.
• This year, 34 students are appearing for the SLC examinations. I wish them best of luck for their superb performance in the exams.

·         Members of the Eco-Club of our school, who were actively working on Four River One World project out of which, Aksheyata Uprety of class Nine and Miss Saguna Kasaju, Science teacher and programme coordinator of the  project have got opportunity to attend the conference to be held in New York / USA from April 3^rd to 14 this year. They were selected on the basis of the presentation of the project profile presented during the visit of iEARN / USA teachers in Nepal. Scholarship for the visit of two candidates of our school in the New York Conference is provided by the Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau, US Department of State.

• In order to enable our students to understand the mutual interdependency and to play an active role in global community, we are trying to engage our students in different global interaction forums, such as iEARN, DGSP and we have built partnership with two more schools of the UK this year. Thus, this year, many students will share and interact with the students of other countries to achieve the theme of Global Citizens.
• Obviously, the modern technologies are intervening and strengthening the educational sectors, such as the CC camera in the classrooms and most dynamic, secured and interactive web forum of our school have enhanced students and teachers to develop their creative and thinking skills. This is what we have been striving to achieve since the last year.
• We are more concentrated on quality education, so we are under no completion to increase the number of students. Although, this year we have some seats vacant in class one to seven and obviously a new set in NURSERY. If you have any aspiring candidates to join our school, please, do convey this message to contact the reception desk of the school as soon as possible. We have the provision to provide some discount to the relatives of present and ex- students of this school.
• The result of the final examination will be out on 29^th of Chaitra, 2065, Saturday.
• The school will re-open on Sunday, 6^th Baishak 2066.
• Books will be made available from  Sagarmatha Stationery & Sports, Kopundole.

Lastly, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to all our valuable parents and well-wishers for thier cordial co-operation in running the school smoothly and effectively. We look forward to similar representations, helps and valuable advice in the days ahead.
